Kate’s Place Restaurant – Charming spot for twists on American favorites serviced in casual environs with backyard setting.

Wimberley Café – Traditional breakfast dishes, sandwiches, and homestyle entrees served in old-timey quarters with counter seats. Located in the center of the downtown square.

Shamrock Tacos – This is one of our best kept secrets…Don’t let the fact it is located inside a Diamond Shamrock gas station fool you. The line can get pretty long, we highly suggest calling in your order ahead of time.

Sugar Shack Bakery – Adorable local bakery that makes everything from scratch daily. Their breakfast kolaches are a personal favorite.

Lunch/Casual Dinner

Hays City Store – This restaurant is a couple minutes outside of town but well worth the drive. Very family and pet friendly with great service, comfort food, and lively atmosphere. Outdoor yard games and a new outdoor bar with brick pizza oven.

Community Pizza & Beer Garden – Wood-fired pizzas and daily pastas with a fun atmosphere and outdoor seating.

The Leaning Pear – Locally sourced, seasonal menu served in a modern, eco-conscious, indoor-outdoor setting. The two made from scratch soups that differ daily never disappoint but the most popular item is their house salad served with spiced pecans, goat cheese, pear, and shallot vinaigrette.

Salt Lick BBQ – The single best overall BBQ experience in Central Texas. The all you can eat family style option is definitely the way to go, $24 for adults and $10 for kids.

Ino’z Brew & Chew – Typical American bar and & grill in a woodsy Creekside setting with a large deck and live music stage. Known for their Mexican martinis.

Creekside Cookers BBQ – Great BBQ served lunch and dinner, and delicious smoked steaks. They also offer great catering options at very reasonable prices for groups small and large.

Milagro’s Hill Country Tex Mex – Items on the menu are reasonably priced, and there are a lot of unique cocktails available, including the Mexican Martini and the Fire and Ice, which features Habanero infused tequila.

Fine Dining

Trattoria Lisina – Located on the grounds of The Mandola Estate & Vineyard, you will feel like you have been transported to the countryside of Italy. Go early and enjoy a wine tasting next door before your dinner reservation. Reservations suggested.

Jobell Café & Bistro – French-inspired Bistro fare and thoughtfully selected wine list in an intimate main dining room or on the outdoor decks.

Bars/Nightlife

The Shady Llama – Family-friendly, dog-friendly beer and wine garden located outdoors with lawn seating and great views. Best place to watch the sunset in Wimberley.

Los Olivos Market – Great afternoon hangout spot. You can do a tasting of 5 Texas wines for $9. They also have a wide variety of salsas, dips, pickled vegetables, and more that you can try before buying.

The Tavern at Cypress Falls – Outdoor bar right along the Cypress Creek with live music. Stays open until 12:00 am on weekdays and 1:00 am on Saturdays.
